Couples Forging Day

 

 

Course price: £220 per couple.*
Duration: 8hrs, one day.
 
*Please note: This course is intended to be a budget friendly option for an enjoyable day out for you and a friend/partner on a single ticket. As such you will be working together at a single forge and anvil on a shared project. If you both wish to have your own work area and forge all day on individual projects, please book two tickets for the "Blacksmithing Project Day".
  

Looking for a fun and interesting idea for a date? A day out with your loved one or partner? Or just a fun activity day for you and a friend? Why not have a go at the ancient art of Blacksmithing!


This experience day is totally flexible to your requirements; we can make just about anything you like providing there is enough time! If you wish to make a range of smaller/simpler items then you can make as many pieces as time allows on the day.

You and your partner/friend can work together to make any combination of:

  • Romantic ideas: forge a steel rose, garden wine glass holder, heart ornament or trivet.
  • Useful items for the home: Bottle openers, hooks, fire poker or even a full fireplace set, keyrings, towel rails/rings or loo roll holders!
  • Decorative items: a decorative steel snail, dragonfly, candle holder
  • Jewellery: forged steel pendants, bracelets, rings, broaches or hair pins.

Whatever you choose to make, this is guaranteed to be a fun and memorable experience and a great opportunity to work together and get creative!
